EastEnders aired a family feud as one character believed they’d rumbled a sick plan against a loved one on Monday.

The BBC soap aired the moment Peter Beale believed he’d worked out what his mother Cindy Beale was hiding ahead of a sad exit. Peter feared it was bad news for his brother Bobby, and that he was the target of a shock plan amid a recent return.

Confronting his mum, Peter accused her of trying to set up Bobby to fail at the family restaurant in the hope he would leave Walford. Given Bobby will soon leave the show, could Peter have worked out the truth and how Bobby might leave the show?

Cindy was furious and claimed she was instead trying to make amends with Bobby, hiding the fact she’s secretly having an affair with Junior Knight. Peter is now determined to find out what she’s hiding, but will Bobby work out the truth and end up fleeing?

Spoilers had teased an exit for Bobby after the news broke earlier this year. Bobby’s girlfriend Anna Knight appears to have feelings for their pal Freddie Slater, with Freddie feeling the same way.

Jane made her comeback in a twist recently, seven years after she left the show. Actress Laurie Brett reprised her role, with the comeback kept a secret until it aired.

Jane and Bobby had not been in touch it seemed, and things were awkward between the pair at first. But after Jane gave Bobby a gift and the pair spoke things through, Bobby was keen to see his stepmother again in the future.

The scene left fans convinced that Jane would be part of Bobby’s exit storyline, and that this might be how he leaves the show.
