The talk about the mysterious paternity has now shifted from Dex to Gio, tease General Hospital. The youngster arrived in PC as part of Brook Lynn’s wedding guest brigade. However, he did not return with his troupe. Instead, he decided to stay back in PC and find a musical footing for himself.
However, GH spoilers reveal that there could be a bigger connection keeping Gio rooted in town, and it has something to do with his “uncle Sonny”. No, we are not saying that he is Sonny’s long-lost son. But, what if he is Sonny’s long-lost lover’s son? Long-term viewers would remember that ions ago, the love of Sonny’s life, Brenda, had a mob baby!
During her affair with an Eastern European mobster, Alexander, she became pregnant with his baby and gave birth to his son – Alec. However, in an attempt to flee from the mob life, she sought Sonny and Dante’s help. Dante claimed that the baby was his. However, later, Alexander’s mom drugged Brenda, induced labor, and stole the baby.
But Sonny sprung to her aide, and after much struggle, he managed to reunite Brenda with her then 5-year-old son – Alec. The mother and son then fled town to start a fresh life somewhere away from the taints of the mob. But what if Brenda at a later point realized that Alec would be safer under someone else’s watch rather than her’s?
Maybe that’s why she remained him Gio and left him under Lois’ wing. It is possible that Sonny also knows the truth and that’s why he seems to adore Gio so much! Moreover, if this really is the truth, could Brenda return to reunite with her son at some point?
