General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that the land of Port Charles is about to explode with two major returns. Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) is set to come back in the days/weeks ahead, and with the show putting out a casting call for Lulu Spencer (last played by Emme Rylan), it’s only a matter of time before Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will be surrounded by most of her children (if Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) is released from prison, she’d have all her kids back).
Still, could the return of both Spencer kids foreshadow another major comeback?
GH Spoilers – Why Is Lucky Spencer Returning?
GH spoilers indicate many fans have been wondering what will bring Lucky back to Port Charles. After all, it’s been a hot minute since he’s been home.
Could he have news that his father, Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) is alive? Viewers may recall that on New Year’s Day 2022, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) returned to town and told both Laura and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) that Luke died in Austria, after a cable car accident.
With that being said, this is the land of soaps, where anything is possible. The last time Lucky was home in 2015, he returned with information that Jake Webber (Hudson West) was not dead, but alive on Cassadine Island. Could lightning strike twice?
GH Spoilers – The Anthony Geary Factor
Luke Spencer is a role that would be challenging to recast. Not to say that this isn’t possible; however, actor Anthony Geary has made it clear he is retired and is likely staying that way.
Again, there’s always a slight possibility that Tony could come out of retirement for a storyline, he has done this in the past, but there’s a good chance that the actor will stay put for now.
Last month, fellow GHer, Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall) visited with Geary in Amsterdam and posted a photo of it on Instagram. The actor looked like he was quite happy with retirement life.
With both Lucky and Lulu returning to Port Charles … could Luke come back from the dead, too?
When it comes to General Hospital (GH) spoilers, fans are in for a treat as two major characters are set to make their return to Port Charles. Lucky Spencer (played by Jonathan Jackson) is making a comeback soon, and with a casting call out for Lulu Spencer (previously portrayed by Emme Rylan), it looks like Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will soon be surrounded by her children once again. If Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) is also released from prison, Laura will have all her kids back together. But could the return of the Spencer siblings hint at another significant comeback in the near future?GH spoilers have left viewers wondering about the reason behind Lucky’s return to Port Charles. It has been a while since he last set foot in town, so what could be the cause of his sudden return? Perhaps he has some news about his father, Luke Spencer (played by Anthony Geary), who was believed to be deceased after a tragic accident in Austria. However, in the world of soap operas, anything is possible. Lucky has a history of surprising everyone with unexpected revelations, like when he revealed that Jake Webber (Hudson West) was alive on Cassadine Island back in 2015. Could history be repeating itself with another shocking twist?Speaking of Anthony Geary, the iconic actor who brought Luke Spencer to life, it would be a tough act to follow if anyone were to attempt to recast the role. While it’s not entirely impossible for someone else to step into the shoes of Luke, Geary has made it clear that he is done with acting and is enjoying his retirement. Although there’s always a slim chance that he might make a brief return for a compelling storyline, it’s more likely that he will remain out of the spotlight for the time being. A recent photo posted by Kelly Monaco (who plays Sam McCall on GH) showed Geary looking content and at ease with his retired life. With Lucky and Lulu’s return to Port Charles on the horizon, could we possibly see Luke making a miraculous comeback from the dead as well?
