Shockwaves are set to ripple through Emmerdale as a fan favourite may be about to meet a shocking end.
Nate Robinson, played by the talented Jurell Carter, might soon be written out of the show with a shocking twist that would end his drama-filled stint in the Dales.
Jurell, who has become a favourite among soap watchers since bursting onto the scene in 2019,
has been embroiled in spicy plotlines left, right and centre – including a steamy romp with his dad’s other half, Moira Dingle, played by Natalie J Robb.
However, it was reported in June that Jurrell is set to leave the village after five years.
A spokesperson told The Sun: “Nate has been at the centre of some huge storylines and his exit will be no different.”
The insider teased fans saying: “It will be dramatic and explosive and will go down in Emmerdale history.
It won’t be one to miss… Jurell has loved being on the soap but he’s a young actor and it’s understandable he wants to spread his wings.”
The source also fanned the flames of Jurells future fame by adding: “He’s got a lot of talent – not to mention the looks – to become a big star and leaving the soap is the only way he can do that. Five years is a good run but he feels it’s time,” reports the Express.
The grapevine of rabid fan speculation is buzzing with dark predictions on how Nate is going to bow out, with the Manchester Evening News hinting at a deadly twist involving Tom King (James Chase) as part of his hair-raising abuse storyline with Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor Draper).
Fans are well aware of the torment Belle has endured at the hands of Tom, and now social media is buzzing. A fan speculated on Twitter: “It was said a while back that Nate was leaving Emmerdale and it was just recently said that Tom is also leaving.”
The speculation doesn’t end there, as they added: “Now if the dots were to be joined up I am just wondering is it Nate that kills Tom and that is how Nate leaves the show?”. Another agreed, adding: “It’s likely. If you remember he was pretty close to Belle once upon a time, especially when he was disowned by Cain.”
They then hatched a theory about upcoming plots: “The writers might suddenly start writing stories for him and Belle again and he might be the one who actually saw what others only saw halfway.” A third person fan speculated: “Nate and Belle used to be close and chat about problems so I know he cares for her, so maybe?”.
