Coronation Street viewers think they have worked out Kit Green’s secret link to dodgy Sid on the ITV soap.
On Monday night it was teased once again that Kit was up to no good, not exactly solving crimes but encouraging them despite being a detective. We’ve already seen him planting evidence and causing havoc since his arrival in recent months, also covering things up.
But weirdly he covered up Beth Tinker’s crime on Monday, after he and her son Craig Tinker caught her selling counterfeit t-shirts to Sid. After teasing them, Kit claimed there was no crime and they were fine to leave the area while taking the shirts.
Later on though he met up with Sid down the ginnel, and he had an offer for him. Sid was confused and believed he was being set up, before Kit claimed there was a surveillance team on the street.
He even gave Sid the t-shirts back before bizarrely telling him he was allowed to sell them on despite it being dodgy, while Kit did ask for half of the profits. Sid thought something wasn’t right and wondered if Kit was messing with him, but Kit told him he would be in touch.

Viewers watching the scenes unfold were convinced there was more to the storyline and Kit. They also wondered if Kit and Sid were secretly linked and that could by why he was helping him.
The pair shook on their deal, with Kit suggesting there would be more contact later on. Some fans couldn’t help wonder if Sid could be the real Kit Green, with Kit being an impostor.
Viewers have long suspected Kit is hiding his real identity and pretending to be someone he isn’t. Taking to social media, some fans wondered if Kit was working with Sid AKA “the real Kit”.
One fan posted: “Maybe that’s the real Kit?” Another agreed: “Exactly something is suspicious I don’t believe the one we know is the real one,” as a third added: “You maybe right.”
Viewers will just have to wait and see if they are right, and if his latest actions will be exposed!
