Paul Foreman will give half-brother Kit Green an ultimatum in upcoming Coronation Street episodes.
Twins Paul and Gemma recently learned that Kit is their long-lost sibling, causing tension within the family over why their mother Bernie hid her secret son all these years.
Kit has tried to get revenge on Bernie by turning her twins against her, though Paul has been keen to mend fences, as his motor neurone disease (MND) progresses to its end stages.
In episodes airing next week, Kit moves into Glenda Shuttleworth’s old room at the Rovers Return so he can dig up gossip on all of the patrons.
The Walford detective has been manipulating those around him ever since he arrived in Weatherfield,
having most recently tricked Craig Tinker into confessing a violation of police procedure.
Meanwhile, Paul is hopeful that Kit will join the rest of the family for a special dinner but is left disappointed when his sibling doesn’t show.
Paul records an audio message that he later plays for Kit, begging him to make amends with Bernie for the sake of the family.
Kit is adamant that he won’t reconcile with their mum but suddenly is thrown into panic when Paul struggles to breathe. Viewers will have to watch to find out whether Kit agrees to make peace with Bernie.
Later in the week, Kit moves into the Rovers and flirts with Daisy Midgeley. He ends up bonding with Daisy’s on-off boyfriend Ryan Connor, with the two deciding to go out for a drink together.
