The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) troubles are just beginning now.
That Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) hallucinations are influencing her behavior.
Sharon will eventually head off the rails and make some wild moves, so this could be a situation where history repeats itself.
In an interview with SOD, Sharon Case was asked for her thoughts on exploring her character’s “darker impulses.”
Since this hot plot is headed in that direction, Case weighed in on how she felt about it.
“Well, that’s what I love a lot about the storyline and what I love about Sharon having bipolar disorder in the first place. It has always made her do crazy things,” Case said.
The Y&R reflected on the time Sharon set the Newman ranch on fire while having a bipolar episode and suggested going to extremes was exciting as an actor.
“I get to do really fun stuff playing this character and I’ve loved every minute,” Case insisted.
Of course, we’re already seeing some signs of trouble since Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) and Lucy Romalotti’s (Lily Brooks O’Briant) storyline is no doubt going to tie in with Sharon’s need to protect her remaining children.
The loss of Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes) is on Sharon’s mind all the time, so her Cameron hallucinations may offer some disturbing guidance on how to keep Faith, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and maybe even Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) safe.
Could another arson be in Sharon’s future? It’s been a while since Y&R had a disaster story like that, so maybe all this will build to Sharon spiraling out of control with fiery results.
It’s possible Sharon could think she’s protecting Faith by setting a fire and trying to take out Lucy with it.
Sharon might even want Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) caught in that blaze if “Cameron” convinces her to get revenge over what happened to Cassie.
Then again, maybe there’ll be some new story angle that would explain Sharon setting fire to the Newman ranch again as a nod to the past.
Whatever the case, our predictions suggest Sharon might cause something to go up in flames as this storyline heats up!
