General Hospital fans were sent reeling after Thursday’s cliffhanger involving Kristina Davis and Ava Jerome. Many viewers are worried that Kristina is going to be written off the show. So, what is the character’s future, and will Ava pay for her crimes? Here is what we know so far.
What Is Going To Happen With Kristina Davis?
Kristina Davis (portrayed by Kate Mansi) and her unborn baby were rushed to surgery during Friday’s episode. The General Hospital fan-favorite character was arguing with Ava Jerome (Maura West) when she tripped over a duffle bag and fell out of a window.
During their conversation, Kristina told Ava that she would testify against her in the upcoming custody trial. When Ava approached her, Kristina stepped back, which led to her fall. She crashed through the window and fell two stories into the Metro Court pool.
As General Hospital fans know, Kristina is currently carrying her sister’s baby as a surrogate. However, when she was turned over in the pool, she was unconscious and had multiple cuts on her face. When Thursday’s episode ended, she was still unresponsive.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) rescued Kristina out of the pool. Of course, Ava played the victim in the entire ordeal. She was seen sobbing at the hospital while Josslyn was stuck by Kristina’s side. However, she has continued to try to sell her version of how things went down.
First, Ava swamped out the duffle bag Kristina tripped over for high heels. Then, she messed up the entire room. She said, “Kristina did this to herself.” According to Ava, Kristina was violent and tried to attack her. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) wasn’t buying Ava’s story though and arrested her as Kristina was put in the ambulance.
It was shared that Kristina was hemorrhaging after the placenta separated from the baby. As a result, she’d gone into shock and the baby was in fetal distress. Ultimately, they decided to move forward with an emergency C-section.
General Hospital Fans React To Kristina’s Situation
That is how Friday’s episode ended. Kristina was in the hospital and Ava was arrested.
Since then, fans have been reeling. “Will she be OK? What about…the baby???” one General Hospital fan asked on X. Another commented on the cliffhanger. They wrote, “OMG, on General Hospital, Kristina fell out of Ava’s window, and she has internal bleeding, and the baby is in distress. I’m hoping they both survive, but who knows? Have a great weekend.”
One person pointed out how Ava was making the situation worse for herself. “Ava made herself look even worse because she admitted being there when Kristina fell and she didn’t bother to call 911 herself. Nice Ava, real nice!” they wrote.
Another person predicted, “Kristina is going to be okay, and so is the child she’s carrying. Ava’s going to pay if either she or the baby doesn’t make it alive.”
