When she was last in Weatherfield, Alina was responsible for breaking up Ty and Fiz. 

Her relationship with Ty was complicated to say the least, mainly because she had to deal with troublesome Hope (Isabella Flanagan), 

who hated the fact her dad was with someone else.

In an attempt to get rid of Alina, Hope set fire to her flat. Sadly, 

the ordeal happened when Alina was pregnant with Ty’s baby. Afterwards, it was confirmed she had experienced a miscarriage.

Just before Alina left the cobbles and returned to Romania, we saw her holding her stomach which suggested she was pregnant again.

In recent weeks, Fiz discovered Alina was back in Manchester due to a trial happening surrounding human trafficking.

In a new spoiler video, Fiz is floored when her trip to Fresco’s sees her bump into Alina while in the carpark. Aline explains that she’s been called as a witness in a trial – but will Fiz tell Tyrone she’s back?

‘I think she is curious to see Tyrone and to speak with him again because obviously she had feelings for him and he was a very important person in her life at some point’, Ruxandra told Metro.co.uk.

‘But I would say if it hadn’t been for the court trial she would not have chosen to come back. I think because she saw herself building a life with him and because they went together through a lot of trauma, which bonded them together, I think she still has feelings for him but different types of feelings. I think he would always mean something to her but just on a different level.’

What’s more, when Alina drops her phone, Fiz notices a picture of her with a little boy, who Alina insists is her nephew. However, Fiz appears to be unconvinced.

It would seem Fiz keeps Alina’s return to herself for a few days as later in the week, Cassie’s (Claire Sweeney) eyes widen as she spots the customer’s name on an airport booking. Taking Steve’s (Simon Gregson) cab, Cassie helps Alina into the car before driving her straight to Coronation Street to see Tyrone.

As Alina realises she’s been duped, how will her interaction with Tyrone go?

Judging by the fact recent pictures show Alina standing beside a pram as she is confronted by Cassie, the theory about her being pregnant with Ty’s baby appears to have been true.

‘I kind of sensed it’, Ruxandra said, discussing the prospect of Alina being pregnant.

‘I’d been playing her for two years and I know how things go on Coronation Street. I’ve learned, I’ve learned! I kind of knew or felt or thought that she might be expecting a baby. I kind of thought about it and thought she is pregnant.’

‘I don’t know why but I think I kind of manifested it because I was thinking about it just a month before. I thought, “There must be something with this. She might have a baby.” I was thinking when that would be the case for her to come back and cause some more drama and stir the pot!’
