General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) smells a rat when it comes to now restored WSB Director Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure). Robert knew Brennan a lot longer than Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) from Australia, and he’s got some dirt on him from the past.

General Hospital Spoilers: Robert Never Did Trust Brennan

Robert never trusted Brennan, even before they were in WSB spy school-Robert and Brennan were high school classmates and he knows Brennan was a delinquent.

He has a suspicion that Brennan was the one behind his forced retirement from the WSB, remembering he was always making trouble for his high school classmates. He’d set up people and it went to his head about being a school resource officer-helper and get his classmates in trouble, but it got worse than that after they graduated.

Robert always was wary when he realized Brennan was rising in the ranks of the WSB after spy school-where he cheated as well, but Robert couldn’t prove it. The guy was slick as a sidewalk after an ice storm, and always managed to weasel his way out of being caught, and Robert’s incensed to learn he’s done it again!

GH Spoilers: Robert Realizes His Hands Are Tied

There’s not a lot Robert can do as the Port Charles District Attorney to stop anything Brennan is doing now that he’s back in the saddle as WSB director again. Of course the news got back to him that Anna found out he was released from Pentonville and the systems were wiped like he’d never been there or GH.

Robert is quite sure that Brennan’s capable of murder, and if he was working with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) all that time he was probably working with all of them. But he’s determined to expose Brennan for the criminal he really is, and even though he has no one at the WSB he’s got other old friends back in Australia! Robert decides to get in touch with his old law enforcement friends back there he’s known longer than Anna and see if there are any old charges that will still stick!

General Hospital Spoilers: Perhaps If Nothing Else He Can Get Brennan Deported?

Robert decides to do an off the books investigation with the help of his old contacts and friends in Australia to see if Brennan’s immigration papers are in order.

He’s now claiming to be a United States citizen but maybe he faked those records as well-it will take a lot of digging, since it’s been years ago. Robert and Mac Scorpio (John J. York) had to emigrate the right way to become US citizens and he knows the same has to apply to Brennan.
