General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of August 5-9 reveal that it’s almost time for a long-awaited comeback. Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) return is happening in early August, so there’s a good possibility it’ll happen the first week of the month.
Since Morgan will presumably resurface in the form of a dream or hallucination, the timing certainly feels right.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is spinning out now that he’s on full placebos, so he could hit rock bottom soon enough.
That could lead to Sonny getting a visit from Morgan in spirit form or at least imagining one.
Sonny might even get a warning from Morgan about Ava Jerome (Maura West) along with a reminder that she messed with Morgan’s own meds in the past.
In other words, Morgan could help Sonny crack the case of his sabotaged medication depending on how things play out.
It’s also possible Morgan will pop back up to haunt Ava in a dream since he’s done that before.
Of course, there’s one other option to consider since we know a Metro Court pool tragedy is coming up.
If the accident involves Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) or Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears), maybe there could be a near-death experience where big brother Morgan guides one of them away from the light!
Regardless, GH fans will see the aftermath of that pool disaster during the week of August 5-9, so there’ll be plenty of distraught characters waiting for updates as a family crisis plays out.
As for Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi), her due date is in August.
Kristina’s stress level is through the roof, so that could move things along when it comes to her going into labor as well.
Although Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is hoping that Kristina will settle down and surrender the baby as planned once he or she is born, will Kristina form an even stronger bond with this little one instead?
That may depend on whether the baby survives and thrives, especially since it looks like Kristina could land in some Ava-related danger shortly before the delivery.
Over with John Cates (Adam J. Harrington), his alliance with Ava could bring more trouble than he bargained for.
It’s always a mistake to trust Ava, so John may learn that lesson the hard way soon enough!
