In recent months we’ve seen the two enjoy a night of passion on the countertops of Beale’s Eels kitchen behind Cindy’s partner Ian Beale’s (Adam Woodyatt) back.
While Cindy was adamant that their steamy encounter was a one-off mistake, Junior believed otherwise, and it is clear there is still chemistry between them.
That soon became clear when he began flirting with Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa).
And she masked her disappointment by pretending she was angry about her potentially betraying boyfriend Peter Beale (Thomas Law).
After a falling out with Ian over his reconnection with ex-wife Jane (Laurie Brett), she stormed out of the house and told them that she was meeting up with old pal Gita Kapoor.
In reality, she was jumping into Junior’s car and the two drove off into the distance, presumably for another night of passion.
In upcoming scenes, Cindy’s craving more attention from him and is frustrated when he’s distracted by work.
Hoping that she can make him jealous, she agrees to an innocent drink with Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) in The Vic – and it seems to work!
Back at No. 45, the pair sleep together and Cindy is clearly using the opportunity of Ian and Kathy’s (Gillian Taylforth) trip to the US to her full advantage.
The next day, the pair arrange another afternoon of fun together but their plans are scuppered when Peter has to attend a meeting and therefore can’t manage Beale’s Eels.
Desperate, Cindy employs Bobby to help and promotes him to manager, but it soon becomes clear that he’s not a perfect fit for the role.
She’s not interested though, and back at the house she and Junior tear each other’s clothes off.
Back at the restaurant, Bobby and Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) juggling the management and it’s chaotic. He tries his best to prove himself to Cindy, but raises an eyebrow when she says she’s taking an early finish because she has a migraine.
With her actually climbing into bed with Junior, neither are aware that Bobby has arrived home…
