Next week’s Coronation Street will see Lauren fear that she’s losing her baby, while Abi is accused of

arson following a fire at Stefan’s office.

Meanwhile, Beth’s counterfeit scheme is at risk of being uncovered by Carla.

1. Joel continues to fool Dee-Dee

Joel advises Dee-Dee to be mindful of their wedding budget as his divorce is proving costly. Dee-Dee agrees, oblivious to the fact that Lauren has demanded Joel sets her up financially in Ireland in exchange for her silence.

When Joel brings Maeve to spend some time with Dee-Dee, Dee-Dee notes his natural skills as a father.

However, when Lauren texts Joel about a leak at her flat, he’s forced to take Maeve with him.

2. Joel puts a new plan into action

Dee-Dee receives a parcel delivery, assuming that it’s a gift from Joel but is puzzled to see it’s addressed to ‘E. Smith.’

Later, Joel is horrified when he receives a voice note from Dee-Dee telling him that she has received his parcel.

Joel visits Lauren and promises that she will be able to relocate to Ireland very soon. Afterwards, he confirms to Dee-Dee that she’ll have his undivided attention moving forward.

3. Lauren suffers stomach pains

Lauren is the victim of a mugging at the precinct and turns to Max for comfort.

In the aftermath, Joel pays Lauren a visit, making out he’s concerned for her but secretly plots to get rid of her for good.

When she’s left alone, Lauren doubles over with sudden stomach pains. Max comes to her rescue but Lauren fears that she’s losing the baby.

4. Stefan tries to get the upper hand

Stefan reaches out to Kevin to organise a meeting so that they can move on from their feud once and for all.

However, it becomes clear that Stefan has ulterior motives when he visits Number 13 whilst Kevin is out. Unaware of Stefan’s true intentions, Jack agrees to let him come in and wait until Kevin and Abi return.

5. Kevin suspects Abi of arson

Kevin is surprised to see a news report about a fire at Stefan’s office building. When Abi remarks that Stefan had it coming, Kevin grows suspicious.

Kevin and Abi are taken in for questioning over their possible connection to the fire. When Abi is confronted with evidence that she visited Stefan’s house, she becomes the number one suspect.

6. Abi tries to prove her innocence

Following her police interview, Abi is hurt to realise that Kevin also suspects that she was responsible for the fire. With a potential prison sentence looming, Abi determines to uncover the truth.

Later in the week, DS Swain charges the person responsible for the arson attack.

7. Beth plans a surprise for Kirk

Beth hands over an envelope full of cash to Craig, instructing him to hide it and tells him she’s planning a surprise for Kirk.

Later, Beth also pays Betsy her cut from their first counterfeit t-shirt consignment.

Meanwhile, Maria uncovers Beth’s plan to surprise Kirk with a wedding.

8. Kirk puts Beth’s scheme at risk

As Beth goes full steam ahead with wedding planning, she’s put out by the cost of wedding venues. Betsy tells her that they need to step up their counterfeit scheme to earn more cash.

However, Beth is horrified when she learns that Kirk loaded a new batch of counterfeit t-shirts onto the delivery van, and races to intercept the delivery before Carla learns the truth.

9. Nick is under pressure from Rowan

With Amy now under Rowan’s influence, she prepares to attend an Institute retreat. Leanne struggles to hide her jealousy when Rowan remarks that Amy is destined for great things.

Meanwhile, Nick faces further blackmail from Rowan. Following Rowan’s recent assault by Nick, Rowan demands the £20,000 investment Nick promised – in exchange for not reporting him to the police.

10. Fiz is troubled by a reminder from the past

Fiz receives a blast from the past when Debbie and Rita inform her that the leader of a human trafficking group in Romania is going on trial – and Alina may be called as a witness.

Alina was last seen in 2021 after her relationship with Tyrone came to an end. Although unconfirmed, her final scenes indicated that she was pregnant with Tyrone’s baby.

To escape the reminder of Alina, Fiz tells Tyrone that she’s found them a good holiday deal, but Tyrone’s lack of excitement is clear.

11. Paul considers his future

With his condition deteriorating in recent weeks, Paul has been considering taking his own life rather than succumb to his MND.
