Emma Atkins describes the gruesome scene: “Seeing blood smeared on a wall is just an unpleasant sight. Is it Belle’s or Tom’s? We immediately fear for her safety because why wouldn’t we? She’s gone away and is missing, and there’s no one in the house when we get there. We see blood and immediately assume Belle is in real trouble.”
As Cain and Charity struggle to decide their next move, viewers are treated to a chilling flashback of the events that transpired when Belle and Tom arrived at the cottage. What began as a seemingly pleasant trip quickly turned into a nightmarish ordeal for Belle.
