It was only a matter of time before he crossed the wrong person…

In upcoming scenes, Nish is basking in a golden glow of attention from sons Ravi (Aaron Thiara) and Vinny (Shiv Jalota) – but it doesn’t last.

When Vinny decides to try and chip in on a business deal, Nish quickly side-lines him, and feeling frustrated he turns back to mum Suki (Balvinder Sopal) for some advice.

As viewers of the BBC One soap know, the two are plotting against him to get their hands on inheritance money.

After he sold the Bridge Street Cafe back to former owner Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) for £1, with everything else going to the Gurdwara.

He wasn’t pleased when the clan initially rejected to accept him back into the fold after he revealed he is terminally ill and has months to live.

Suki is keen for Vinny to continue making bold moves to gain Nish’s respect back, and he heads to Walford East to gate-crash a meeting.

And try to charm his dad’s new potential client.

However, things quickly go wrong when Priya (Sophie Khan Levy) also decides to weigh in and launches a character assassination of Nish.

Things have been frosty between the two ever since they kissed, after he agreed to support the family in exchange for a secret relationship. When he revealed they’d actually slept together, Priya was pushed to one side by her children and Ravi.

Realising that the only way he can regain his dad’s trust is to throw her out of No. 45, Vinny packs her bags and tells her to leave. Desperate for a lifeline, she throws herself on Martin Fowler (James Bye) who she previously enjoyed a date night with.

Suki, an unlikely supporter of Priya, questions whether her son has done the right thing be Vinny is insistent that it will win him round.

Later, we discover that Vinny’s plan has worked and Nish is impressed, whilst Priya’s life is in tatters with Ravi blocking her from visiting their son Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) during his dialysis session at the hospital.

Teaming up with Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega), the lad who gave Nugget the steroids that have destroyed his liver, the pair sneak onto the ward but they’re quickly caught out and a huge row erupts.

In her final desperate attempt to get her own back, she lures Nish to the Minute Mart and handcuffs him – demanding that he films a video retracting his lie about them having sex.

Will Nish cave to her demands?
