EastEnders: Reiss's l*es are exposed by Martin Fowler and Lauren Branning. After fleeing home, he returns to "eliminate" one of them as a warning

EastEnders is lining up plenty of drama next week according to the latest set of spoilers for the BBC soap.

A mother and son are left clashing as a reunion is ruled out for one couple. Some characters are concerned for a relative, as a Walford resident finds their secrets under threat.

One character goes to desperate measures after some worrying news, while the soap will also revisit Keanu Taylor’s murder as Dean Wicks makes a return of sorts. The soap’s biggest drama probably stems from Reiss Colwell and his money woes, which have led and continue to lead to him taking drastic action.

Reiss learns things are only getting worse, amid his wife Debbie remaining in a coma in a care home years on from a devastating stroke. Debbie’s care home call to reveal he still owes them money for the home fees, and Debbie will be moved if he doesn’t pay.

As Reiss gets desperate he targets Sharon Watts in an attempt to raise the funds, but it isn’t long until more than one character is on to him. He raises suspicions with Phil Mitchell, Martin Fowler and Lauren Branning next week – but will his lies be exposed?

Elsewhere, and Linda Carter is forced to revisit her harrowing crime next week, months on from killing Keanu on Christmas Day. The character struggles as Dean has his plea hearing in court, months on from being framed for the crime.

Keanu’s grieving sister Bernie is troubled when Linda tries to evade her on the day of the hearing over her brother’s murder, but will she end up suspecting Linda knows something? It’s not clear if Dean will be shown onscreen or if his return is offscreen.

Elsewhere in Walford, Penny comes to blows with Ravi over Avani, and soon Chelsea offers her a lifeline. But there’s tears when Penny betrays her, and Chelsea is left without a job.

Reiss Colwell’s money problems continue to escalate as he faces the threat of his wife Debbie being moved from her care home if he doesn’t pay the outstanding fees. Desperate to raise the funds, Reiss targets Sharon Watts, but his actions raise suspicions from Phil Mitchell, Martin Fowler, and Lauren Branning.
