General Hospital spoilers tease that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) hasn’t been able to muster up the courage to tell Mac Scorpio (John J York) the truth about their true connection.
When Cody first arrived in Port Charles, he was a bit of a grifter. He believed he had claim to a necklace made from parts of the Ice Princess as the son of Leopald Taub (Chip Lucia), the last known owner of the necklace.
So when Mac suspected that Cody might be his son, Cody agreed reluctantly to a DNA test. But Cody lied to Mac and said they weren’t related.
General Hospital Spoilers – Sasha Gilmore To The Rescue!
Later, Mac’s wife Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) had a second test done but Cody’s good friend Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) learned of Felicia’s plan and replaced Cody’s sample with hers.
Sasha believed that Cody should tell Mac the truth but that he should be able to do it in his own way and time. So Mac still has no idea that he is Cody’s father.
Ironically, Cody has become very close with Mac as well as with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and her children. Maxie was raised by Mac since she was a little girl.
GH Spoilers – Cody Bell Is Afraid To Rock The Boat!
Mac was gone from Port Charles for several months helping out Frisco Jones (Jack Wagner). During that time, Cody really stepped with Maxie and her children. Mac is back now and continues to bond with Cody every chance he gets.
It’s been killing Cody not to tell Mac the truth, but he’s afraid Mac won’t forgive him for lying all this time. Sasha has been trying to convince him to tell the truth every chance she gets. And it looks like Cody may finally be ready. But how will Mac and the rest of the Scorpio family react?
General Hospital Spoilers – Mac Scorpio May Be Angry At First!
Mac values honestly above almost anything else. So it may hard for him to understand in the beginning why Cody couldn’t bring himself to tell him the truth. But Cody will admit he hasn’t fell worthy of being Mac’s son up until now and Sasha helped him see that he absolutely is.
Maxie will likely be angry as well but will be quicker to forgiveness. And let’s not forget that Cody is also Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) nephew. Robert may the most suspicious of Cody out of everyone.
